This is the place that spawned the regeneration of the Hull Marina. Originally named Wilsons, it recently changed to 1884 Wine and Tapas Bar . The establishment has been the recipient of several awards. This restaurant has also aligned with some big names in competition and was the first tapas restaurant in Hull. 5. McCoys – Hull’s Old Town

The location is in a large 2-floor building which at one time was a pub. Now it has marble tables, polished wood floors and artefacts and paintings of fish and chip shops past and the fishing industry; Hull’s main economy at one time. 7. Hawwa – Hessle, West Hull
